Note: Depending on the grade and skill level of the students, assistance may be needed with the activities in this project.
Outcomes
- Identify a numeral matching a specific number of objects.
- Use the counting photo book as a resource for their counting.
- Work cooperatively with classmates.
Technology Skills
- Use a digital camera to take photos.
- Use iPhoto to import and organize photos.
- With assistance, create a photo book with text and numerals.
Assessment Suggestions
- PDF versions of the photo book and their story can be used in students electronic portfolios.
- The teacher can use the books to do individual assessments for identifying numerals and the specific number of objects.
