This lesson was created during the 2007 Apple Distinguished Educator Institute in Monterey Bay, California. Merging strengths from four ADEs, the focus on student exploration, research and creation has been tied together in this lesson.
Students will explore their environment including wildlife, natural resources, landscape and terrain, plant life, history, events, culture and any other elements that makes their environment unique.
Our goal for this project is to have students from all across the country... show us their world!
Example projects are included that use video, photography, written documents, audio recordings and web pages to show off our world, Big Sur. We encourage teachers and students to use these and other "voices" to show us their world.
