Introduction
I am the Director of Academic Technology for St. George's Independent School in Collierville, Tennessee. In that administrative role, I designed the technology infrastructure for that campus when it was built. I currently provide professional development opportunities for faculty on my campus, I assist teachers with technology projects, I conduct videoconferencing events for distance education, and I manage the laptop program on our campus. I am on the Advisory Board for the Apple Distinguished Educators, I am on the advisory council for Dr. Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots, and I am a member of the Advisory Board for Polar Bears International, and I am the Director of Tennis for Memphis Special Olympics. My passions revolve around many of the global issues that exist in today's world, and I strive to make a difference in those issues through education, using technology to affect change. Like Dr. Jane Goodall, I believe that the future of our world relies on the youth of today, and it is the responsibility of educators to empower youth to make a difference for both today and for the future. I travel internationally working with organizations such as Roots & Shoots, Polar Bears International, and Apple, Inc. I give keynote addresses and professional workshops at conferences and meetings across the United States. I have written content for the education division of Apple, and I continue to develop content focused on global education and technology integration.
