iPod Touch and power consumption/green benefits

Is there anyone out there that has done the calculations as to the cost/energy savings of running/charging the iPod Touch against traditional hardware.
I'm not particularly numerate (I'm good with pictures!).
It had occurred to me this week that the classroom with 30 touches doesn't really get hot like a traditional ICT space - This kind of information would be very useful for those making strategic decisions about energy consumptions costs and spaces and ventilation - any thoughts?
Any body teaching Maths tomorrow needing a real world maths challenge? Maybe your students could figure this out for me!
